The Honda BF 50 is the lightest fifty-horsepower, 4-stroke engine in the world. The uniquely compact, durable design of the BF 40 and 50 keeps them running smooth and powerful year after year. And Honda’s patented non-linear rubber mounts makes the ride even more comfortable. A fuel-efficient 3-to-3 induction feature saves space and weight.

Based on the reliable Honda Civic, The Honda 75 and 90 horsepower outboards give you solid, responsive power when you need it. Their highly fuel-efficient 4-to-4 induction system uses one carburetor for each cylinder. And that means power—with quicker and smoother acceleration than engines with large throttle bodies and long intake runners. Positive lubrication from a crankshaft-driven oil pump protects all parts all the time. Based on components of the Honda Accord automobile, Honda Marine’s 115 and 130 horsepower engines benefit from decades of proven engineering from the world’s largest engine maker. Programmed electronic fuel injection delivers the precise air-fuel mixture for easy starts, instant throttle response, and outstanding fuel efficiency. And power is what it’s all about—their 137 cubic inch displacement is the largest of any engine in their horsepower range. The 135 horsepower engine delivers some of the most advanced technology ever seen in an outboard. It boasts Honda's exclusive Dual Stage Induction, a variable air intake manifold that delivers top performance at every speed.

Combined with Honda's exclusive Lean Burn Feedback, which automatically adjusts the air/fuel mix according to speed and load to maximize fuel efficiency, you get an engine that delivers more power with less fuel.
